Roadworks near Baula to continue for two evenings

Roadworks will take place on Route 1, Vesturlandsvegur, past Baula and on Borgarfjarðarbraut on Monday and Tuesday evenings, mbl.is reports. The work is weather-dependent.

According to a notice from paving company Colas, the work will begin at 8 p.m. on both evenings and continue until 7 a.m. the following morning.

Traffic will be directed through the work zone, and delays are expected. Signs and information boards will be placed in the area. Drivers are asked to follow the signs and speed limits and exercise caution near the work zones.
