Suspect may have copied 2015 Trollhättan school attack

The suspected 18 year old in the sword attack at Brinell School in Fagersta may have drawn inspiration from the 2015 school attack in Trollhättan, SVT News reports.
According to SVT News, the suspect may also have copied the clothing worn by Anton Lundin Pettersson, who carried out the Trollhättan attack. He wore black clothes, a mask and a helmet while killing three people at a school with a sword.
Lundin Pettersson was shot dead by police during the attack.
One girl killed in Fagersta
A 17 year old girl was killed in the Fagersta attack, according to Fagersta Posten. Three boys were also injured at Brinell School, two of them seriously.
The suspected 18 year old was shot in the leg by police, according to Aftonbladet. He was previously a student at the school, according to SVT News.
He has previously been convicted of assaulting a student at another compulsory school and has received care under LVU, Sweden’s law on care for young people.
TikTok account investigated
A TikTok account shared a picture of a sword at 1.41pm on Friday. Police were alerted at 2.06pm about ongoing deadly violence at the school.
The same account had previously shared images that could be interpreted as praise for acts of violence. It was removed shortly after the attack at the request of police.
It is currently unclear who owns the account, but SVT News reports that police are investigating it.
