Rain forecast across much of Iceland today
Rain or drizzle is expected across southern and western Iceland today, with southwesterly winds of 8 to 15 metres per second in many parts of the country, mbl.is reports. The precipitation is expected to ease this evening.
Tomorrow, winds will be southwesterly or variable at 3 to 8 metres per second. Cloudy conditions and showers are forecast in many areas. Temperatures will range from 10 to 19°C, with the warmest conditions in the east.
In the capital area, southwesterly winds of 5 to 13 metres per second and rain are expected today. Tomorrow, winds will ease to 3 to 8 metres per second, with some precipitation before conditions mostly clear later in the afternoon. Temperatures will be between 8 and 13°C.
