Police investigate assault in Reykjavík

Police in the capital region received a report of an assault in Reykjavík on Friday evening, and the case is under investigation, mbl.is reported.

The police log does not state how serious the assault was or whether anyone was arrested.

Police also received at least two reports of people in an altered state. In one case, officers helped the person get home.

They were additionally notified of men causing a nuisance and making threats outside a nightclub in Reykjavík.

In another incident in the capital region, an intoxicated person harassed guests and staff at a restaurant. The person had damaged property at the restaurant and is expected to face a complaint for property damage.
