Three charged over Lauttasaari arson, two over money laundering

Prosecutors have brought charges against five people in connection with an arson attack in Lauttasaari, Yle reports.

Three people face charges of aggravated criminal mischief, while two are accused of money laundering linked to the offence.

The case will be heard at the Helsinki District Court from 26 August.

According to the Helsinki Police Department’s preliminary investigation, a bicycle shop was deliberately set on fire after an outside party commissioned the act.
