Tórshavn Municipality is assessing interest in building homes and holiday homes in Hestur village, Kringvarp Føroya reports.
About 3,200 square metres are available for development at the southern end of the village. The plan is to divide the land into smaller building plots.
No project has yet been prepared, so questions about plot sizes, costs, the timetable and conditions remain unanswered until the municipality receives the results of the survey. The findings will be used to decide whether there is a basis for pursuing the plan.
The deadline for responding to the survey is noon on September 17. The survey is available on torshavn.fo.
