Colombian naval school ship welcomes visitors in Reykjavík

The Colombian naval school ship ARC Gloria arrived in Reykjavík and will remain moored at the Ægisgarður quay for three days, mbl.is reported.

The ship belongs to the Colombian Navy and is open to the public during its stay. It serves as a maritime ambassador for Colombia, travelling to ports around the world to promote the country, its culture, and the work and traditions of its navy.

A festive atmosphere greeted a Morgunblaðið photographer aboard the ship, where Colombian folk dances were performed.
