Bread recalled after metal piece found

According to mbl.is, Iceland’s Food and Veterinary Authority has warned about one batch of Euro Market bread from Lindabakarí after a piece of metal was found in a loaf. The product has been recalled in consultation with the health inspection authority in the capital area.
The recall applies only to bread with a best-before date of August 14, 2026, and barcode 5906681555776. It was sold in Euro Market stores.
Consumers who have the bread are advised not to eat it. They should either discard it or return it to their nearest Euro Market store for a refund. No other production batches are covered by the recall.
