Fire crews called to balcony fire found resident grilling

All available fire crews were dispatched after a report of a fire on the balcony of an apartment building in district 104 last night, but police found the resident grilling, mbl.is reports.

The incident was recorded in the police log covering operations from yesterday afternoon until early this morning.

At least 16 firefighters were sent to the scene in four fire engines, according to a watch commander with the capital area fire service. When the first engine arrived and the situation became clear, the rest of the response was cancelled.

It was not reported what the resident was grilling, but there was no danger.
