District heating company seeks new director

Fjarhitafelagið is looking for a new director to take up the position on January 1 next year, Kringvarp Føroya reports.

Hans Christian Dam, who served as director for 22 years, left the position earlier this year due to age. The company’s board appointed finance manager Eirik Mørkøre as interim director for the remainder of this year.

Fjarhitafelagið is owned by SEV and Tórshavn Municipality and was founded in 1988.
