Lottery jackpot doubles after no first-prize winner

There was no first-prize winner in Saturday’s Lotto draw, mbl.is reported, so the jackpot will double for next Saturday’s draw.

One lucky ticket holder won the bonus prize of 821,000 Icelandic krónur. The winning ticket was part of a subscription.

No one won the first prize in the evening’s Joker draw. Six players won the second prize, receiving 125,000 krónur each. Five of the winning tickets were subscription tickets, while the sixth was bought at Sbarro in Akranes.
