Coast Guard helicopter evacuates injured man near Hestfjall

According to mbl.is, an Icelandic Coast Guard helicopter was called to Hestfjall by Skorradalsvatn at around 2.30pm on Saturday after a man was injured.
The man was hoisted aboard the helicopter and was being flown to Reykjavík, where he would receive medical attention, said Ásgeir Erlendsson, the Coast Guard’s information officer.
