Ring Road through Borgarnes to close for resurfacing

The Ring Road through the town of Borgarnes will close temporarily for road milling, mbl.is reported, citing the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration.
The closure will run from Borgarbraut to the bridge over Borgarfjörður on Sunday and Monday evenings, August 16 and 17, from 9 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning.
A marked detour via Borgarfjarðarbraut will be available.
