Police school patrols across Nordland result in one penalty

Police in Nordland carried out preventive patrols at schools across the county during the start of the school year, resulting in just one penalty, NRK reported.

The patrols checked speed, driving under the influence, passenger safety, cyclists and the use of safety equipment on electric scooters.

The only penalty was issued in Mo, where a driver was caught travelling at 44 kilometres per hour in a 30 kilometre per hour zone, police said.
