Insurance group Sampo’s revenue rose by 5 percent to nearly 2.7 billion euros in the second quarter, despite around 20 million euros in losses caused by the Dave storm in April, Yle reports.

Revenue was just over 2.5 billion euros in April to June 2025. Sampo said growth was supported by steady expansion among personal customers in the Nordic countries, faster growth among personal customers in Britain and increased insurance business with Nordic companies.

The underwriting result rose by 5 percent to 418 million euros. This figure represents the result of insurance operations after all expenses. Earnings per share were 0.14 euros.
