Police search for missing 68-year-old man in Reykjavík

Police in the capital area are searching for 68-year-old Svanur Arinbjarnarson, mbl.is reports. He was last known to be in Reykjavík on Tuesday.

Svanur was last seen wearing a blue shirt, a black sweater and black trousers. He has grey hair and a grey beard.

He is in good physical condition but has aphasia and is therefore able to communicate only to a limited extent.

Anyone who can provide information about Svanur’s movements or knows where he is asked to contact police immediately by calling 112.

Police said the accompanying photograph is unclear but may provide some indication of his appearance today.
