Hungarian man detained over case involving Danish teenager

A 22-year-old Hungarian man has been temporarily remanded in custody in Hungary in a case involving a 15-year-old Danish girl, DR reports.

The girl was located in Hungary several days ago. According to a press release from the Hungarian court system, the man is suspected of establishing a relationship with the girl with the intention of later committing sexual offences against her.

The man was charged at a court hearing in Horsens, Denmark, on Friday. DR is not permitted to report the precise wording of the charges because a publication ban is in place.

South-East Jutland Police told DR News that it had no comment on the case.
