Coast Guard spots numerous icebergs off Iceland’s northwest

mbl.is reports that the Icelandic Coast Guard spotted numerous icebergs during a sea-ice reconnaissance flight north of Strandir and Hornstrandir on Monday.

A report was also received overnight that an iceberg had been seen far west-northwest of Látrabjarg.

Reports earlier in the week said icebergs in the area were now breaking apart.
