One person dies in Teuva roadside crash

One person died in a single-vehicle crash in Teuva on Thursday, Yle reports. The Pohjanmaa police received a report of the accident shortly before 9 p.m.

Police said the driver was found in the driver’s seat of the car. The crash occurred on Kauhajoentie, and a preliminary investigation has been opened.

According to preliminary information, the car crossed into the opposite lane, ran into a ditch beside the road, continued across a cycle path and came to a stop.

Police are investigating the case as a death inquiry.
