Police issue international alert for missing 15-year-old Freja
Southeast Jutland Police have expanded the search for 15-year-old Freja from Hedensted and issued an international alert, DR reports. Police are asking the public for help finding her.
Freja was last seen at around 8am on Tuesday in the southern part of Hedensted, a town between Vejle and Horsens.
She is described as approximately 170 centimetres tall and slim, with dark, curly hair. She was wearing a cropped hoodie, dark trousers and pink shoes.
Deputy Police Inspector Christian Skyt said police were concerned about her and had launched a broad investigation.
“We are continuing to search for Freja, and we very much want the public’s help to find her because we are concerned about her,” Skyt said in a police statement. “We have also issued an international alert in the hope that it can help us find her.”
Police are asking residents and businesses in Hedensted and the surrounding area to review video surveillance from cars and buildings, particularly in the southern part of the town. Residents throughout the Hedensted area are also being asked to check sheds and outbuildings.
Anyone who has seen Freja or has information about where she may be staying should contact Southeast Jutland Police on 1-1-4.
