Ikea in Tampere is beginning to assess the necessary repairs following a water damage incident that occurred on Saturday. According to the company, the work will be carried out thoroughly over the coming weeks and months. The store is expected to remain open during the assessment and repair process.

Ikea has not disclosed details regarding the financial losses incurred due to the water damage. The incident was caused by a failure in the connection of the roof drain, which resulted in thousands of liters of water entering the store. Customers were evacuated, and the store remained closed for the rest of the day on Saturday. However, the store resumed normal operations on Sunday.
