Orpo and Purra headline Kotkaniemi foreign policy forum

Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and Finance Minister Riikka Purra are due to discuss Finland’s foreign and security policy at the Kotkaniemi Forum in Luumäki on Wednesday, Yle reported.

The fifth forum will take place in the garden of the home museum of former President P. E. Svinhufvud. The event will also feature Antti Lindtman, an MP and chair of the Social Democratic Party, and Antti Kaikkonen, an MP and chair of the Centre Party.

The programme will examine the impact of great-power politics on Finland and the daily lives of Finns from the perspectives of researchers, business representatives and the media.

Yle will stream the event live on Yle Areena from 12.15 to 16.00.
