Search for new leader at Blákrossheimið in Faroe Islands

A search is currently underway for a new leader for Blákrossheimið.

In May of last year, Leivur á Lakjuni was appointed as the interim leader after Jütta Olsen, who had led the organization since 2018, stepped down on June 30 of the previous year.

At that time, it was announced that the leadership position would be officially advertised in the first quarter of this year.

The position was officially announced on July 31.

The application deadline is set for August 18.

The successful candidate will assume the role on October 1.

Health insurance has confirmed Blákrossheimið as an approved addiction treatment center.
