Romanian tour guide fined 10,000 kroner for working without permit

A Romanian tour guide was fined 10,000 kroner after being found working in the Faroe Islands without permission, KVF reported on Tuesday.

The guide was stopped on Monday while accompanying a group of eight people in the area above Funning. He accepted the fine.

It has not yet been decided whether he will be deported. The authorities are waiting for a response from Denmark.
