Data breach at Bonava may expose customer information in Sweden

Swedish residential developer Bonava has suffered a data security breach, Yle reports. Personal information may have fallen into the wrong hands, including names, addresses and contact details, the company says.

Bonava has notified the Data Protection Ombudsman about the incident. A criminal report has also been filed in Sweden.

According to the company’s website, Swedish police informed Bonava of the possible breach last Monday. The company is investigating what happened.
