Calm reigned in the Herjólfshöll building in Vestmannaeyjar this morning, as observed by a local reporter. The lights were out and most guests appeared to be in a deep sleep.
Many visitors had to pack up their tents in Herjólfsdal yesterday due to strong winds. The local police chief, Karl Gauti Hjaltason, reported in a morning conversation that the guests had behaved well, as there were no other options available to them.
