Demolition of the old Pullola bridge at the Moreeni interchange in Hämeenlinna has begun, with work continuing around the clock, Yle reports.
Preparatory work and lane closures on the Helsinki–Tampere motorway started Monday. Traffic is being diverted past the demolition site via new ramps at the Moreeni interchange, with one lane open in each direction.
The demolition is expected to take up to three days and may cause congestion and delays.
