Flea market shoppers should ask themselves whether they truly need an item or are simply caught up in the moment, according to Swedish second-hand expert Gustav Broström.

Broström, speaking to SVT, advises against rushing into purchases to avoid common flea market pitfalls this summer. His own passion for flea markets began in childhood, when he helped his parents hunt for items for their newly bought summer cottage. Today, he prioritises second-hand goods whenever possible.
