OmaKela service disruption blocks basic income and housing benefit applications

The OmaKela online service is experiencing a technical issue preventing users from applying for basic income support and general housing allowance, Finland’s Social Insurance Institution (Kela) reports on its website.

The fault also affects unemployment period notifications. Kela states it is currently investigating the cause of the disruption.
