A car veered off the road and into a house in Råde, Østfold, leaving four men in their early 20s critically injured, police confirmed in an update at 12:59.
One victim was airlifted directly to Ullevål Hospital, another was taken by ambulance to Rygge before being flown by rescue helicopter, and the third was transported to Ullevål by road ambulance, operations manager Fredrik Solbakken of the Øst Police District told Dagbladet.
All four injured are from Oslo. Authorities have not yet determined whether all were in the car or if some were inside the house at the time of the crash. The house’s residents were unharmed.
Solbakken said investigators are conducting inquiries and interviews. Based on the material damage, speed is suspected to have been a factor. A tipster told Moss Avis the driver had been traveling at extreme speed before crashing through a garden and into the house.
