Ternan, the Faroese passenger ferry, will resume its summer route between Klaksvík and Kalsoy on Thursday evening, the national ferry operator announced.

The vessel had previously operated the route but was withdrawn ahead of peak summer travel. The first departure from Klaksvík is scheduled for 14:50 on Thursday, with the final sailing of the day departing at 18:30. The temporary service will continue until August 14, Strandfaraskip landsins confirmed.

Dánjal Samuelsen, director of Strandfaraskip landsins, stated that the decision was made in response to increased summer passenger traffic between Klaksvík and Kalsoy.
