Mikkel Andersen turns his garden into classroom for local children
Twelve-year-old Mikkel Andersen has turned his family garden into a small vegetable stand called “Mikkels Vejbod,” selling produce he grows himself.
He would like Danish schools to give more attention to gardening, food production and vegetable cultivation, arguing that hands-on learning in nature can inspire other children and teenagers to connect with the environment.
