Faroese council to vote on rainbow crosswalk approval in Tórshavn

The Faroese capital’s council will vote on a proposal to paint a rainbow crosswalk in Steinatún, Tórshavn, after LGBT+ Føroyar requested permission to do so.

Councillor Birgir Nielsen of the People’s Party said the decision should have been made in the council chamber because the matter is controversial. Nielsen is a member of Tórshavn Municipality’s council.
