High or elevated grass pollen levels are expected nationwide on Friday, according to the Nordic Museum’s Pollen Report cited by SVT.

In most of Götaland, Svealand, and much of Norrland, the risk of high grass pollen concentrations remains significant as many grass species continue to bloom. In the northernmost parts of Norrland and mountainous regions, the risk is elevated rather than high.

Pollen counts may spike during settled weather, particularly near tall grass. Meanwhile, mugwort has begun flowering, bringing a localized elevated risk of high mugwort pollen levels in Götaland and parts of southern and central Svealand. Elsewhere in Sweden, areas near flowering mugwort may see a minor risk.

The forecast applies for the entire day.
