AI tool identifies correct recycling bins in Skanderborg and Ry

A new AI assistant named Maia is now helping residents at Skanderborg and Ry recycling parks determine which of the 48 available containers to use for items like paint trays, bike helmets, or wooden boards, Danish broadcaster DR reports.

Users take a photo of the item they wish to discard, and Maia specifies the correct bin. The service is currently limited to the two recycling parks but will soon expand to additional facilities in the Renosyd area.
