Danish teen named after Messi works in grocery store

An 18-year-old from Nykøbing Mors named Messi Brander, the first in Denmark to be named after the Argentine football star, now works in a grocery store, reports DR.

Seventeen people in Denmark currently share the first name Messi. Brander and his family on the island of Mors are closely following the World Cup, hoping for an Argentine victory. His older brother is named Marco, after the Dutch football legend Marco van Basten.
