Finnish maritime rescue emergency number out of service

The Finnish Border Guard reports that the maritime rescue emergency number, 02941000, is currently not functioning. Authorities are investigating the issue.

In a maritime emergency, the Border Guard advises calling the general emergency number 112 or contacting the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre via VHF channel 16.
