Wax figure of Alexander Stubb arrives at Visulahti Wax Cabinet in Finland

A wax figure representing Alexander Stubb, the President of Finland, has arrived at the Visulahti Wax Cabinet, a long-awaited addition since it was ordered in the spring. The figure has been crafted by the Mänd family from Estonia. The entrepreneurs personally transported the wax figure to Visulahti on Thursday evening, where it has been on public display since Friday morning.

So far, the wax figure has not attracted a significant crowd at the museum, and feedback remains absent. Atte Räsänen, the CEO of the Visulahti Wax Cabinet, expressed his satisfaction with the arrival. “Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder, and everyone will see something different in it. To my eyes, it resembles the individual it depicts,” he stated.

Initially, the exact arrival date was uncertain, resulting in hesitation to promote the figure. “We only received confirmation yesterday that the figure was on its way,” Räsänen explained. The wax figure was initially expected to arrive during the Midsummer celebrations, but its delivery was delayed.

The Visulahti Wax Cabinet already features figures of Stubb’s predecessors, including those of Sauli Niinistö, Tarja Halonen, and Martti Ahtisaari. Established in 1983, the wax museum has become a notable attraction in the region.
