No serious injuries in Lahti mass brawl
Police in Häme confirmed no serious injuries were reported after a mass brawl in central Lahti on Saturday, though some victims may not have come forward, according to Yle.
Commissioner Elina Katajamäki said the fight involved supporters of football clubs HJK and FC Lahti. The clash occurred at Paasikivenaukio square following an afternoon match between the two teams.
Authorities arrested 48 people, mostly Finnish citizens, along with one individual each from Liechtenstein, Poland, Italy, and Austria. Investigations are underway for multiple counts of assault, illegal masking, and possession of flares—classified as dangerous objects.
