Finland crowns new tango royalty today

Finland will select its new tango king and queen at the Seinäjoki Tango Festival on Saturday, as eight finalists compete for the titles, Yle reports.

A four-member jury will choose two male and two female contenders for the super final, after which the audience will vote to decide the 2026 winners.

The final begins at 7:30 p.m. and can be watched live on Yle TV1 and Yle Areena.
