Man sentenced to Sikringen after fatal attack and attempted murder

A 33-year-old man was ordered into secure psychiatric detention at Sikringen in Slagelse on Friday after admitting to killing a 58-year-old man in Vejle in November 2024, DR reports.
The court in Kolding heard that after the fatal assault, he travelled to another address and attempted to kill a couple, who survived after calling for help.
Sikringen houses some of Denmark’s most dangerous mentally ill offenders.
