Two men charged over death threats against Ebba Busch
Two men in their 20s have been charged with unlawful threats after effigies of Ebba Busch, Jimmie Åkesson, and the son of Iran’s last shah were found hanging by nooses in central Stockholm, Swedish broadcaster TV4 reports.
The incident occurred in April during a visit to Sweden by Iranian exile prince Reza Pahlavi. The effigies, displayed at Sergels torg, bore a sign reading: “Death to imperialism’s mass murderers, executioners, and lackeys—long live the Iranian people’s national resistance war!”
Security police identified the suspects using surveillance footage and public transport card data.
