Motorcyclist dies in single-vehicle crash in Vågå

A man in his 30s died Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Vågå, Gudbrandsdalen, Dagbladet reports.

Emergency services, including police and air ambulance, responded to the scene. At 16:18, police confirmed the motorcyclist had died. The victim, from Voss municipality, was the sole rider involved.

Authorities have notified next of kin. Police criminal technicians and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s accident investigation team are en route to examine the circumstances. Witnesses were present, but the cause of the crash remains unknown.
