New cemetery under construction in Skopun

A new cemetery with 182 plots is being built in Skopun, replacing the old one, reports Kringvarp Føroya.
The project, designed by engineering firm Verkfo and carried out by contractor Sp/f Finnleif Fagradal, will cost approximately 2.5 million krona. Work is expected to finish by the end of this year, with the cemetery ready for use in 2027.
