Emergency response at Oslo’s Sørengkaia after reported dive accident
Emergency services are deploying significant resources to Sørengkaia in Oslo following reports of an accident involving a person who may have entered the water after a dive from a platform, Dagbladet reports.
Duty commander Roy Kristoffersen of the fire brigade confirmed to the newspaper that emergency crews received a report of a person in the water and are currently searching for the individual.
Multiple police and fire brigade boats are on scene, and bathers have been asked to leave the area.
