Faroese health authorities recommend RS virus vaccine for pregnant women

Faroese health authorities now recommend that pregnant women receive the RS virus vaccine as part of the free vaccination programme for expectant mothers.
The virus can cause serious illness in newborns, according to paediatrician Fróði Joensen, who advises all pregnant women to get vaccinated.
