The Faroese court system has begun using MínaBoks to notify individuals of summons or legal decisions, such as court rulings, the national broadcaster KVF reports.

Notifications are sent by registered digital post and treated as official legal notices once recipients have acknowledged, opened, forwarded, or deleted them.

The court describes the new method as faster and simpler than previous systems.
