Man in his 70s dies in fall while painting house in Søgne

A man in his 70s has died after falling while painting a house in Søgne near Kristiansand, Dagbladet reports.

Emergency services responded to the scene Wednesday afternoon after reports of the accident. Police confirmed the incident at 17:05 and declared the man dead at the scene. Next of kin have been notified.

Police forensic investigators examined the site, describing it as a tragic workplace accident. A case file has been opened, according to operations manager Arve Johan Myklebust.
