Temu halts sales of sunscreens failing protection tests

E-commerce platform Temu has stopped selling several sunscreens after a new laboratory test found the products failed to provide the promised sun protection, the company told Danish news agency Ritzau.

The move follows a test by consumer watchdog Forbrugerrådet Tænk, in collaboration with European consumer groups, which examined ten sunscreens from Chinese platforms Temu, Shein, and AliExpress.
