Faroese Scouts donate 100,000 krona to Venezuela

The Faroese Scout Association has donated 100,000 krona to Scouts in Venezuela following devastating earthquakes in the country on 25 June, KVF reports.

Scouts in Venezuela are conducting extensive relief work and recovery efforts after the quakes, which have left people missing in collapsed buildings. The Faroese donation will support these operations.

Steinar Patursson, chief secretary of the Faroese Scout Council, said the work in Venezuela resonates strongly with Faroese Scouts, who also contribute to various aid initiatives.
